Athletics School

The Arbeca-Garrigues Athletics School is a project that arises from the need to reactivate this sport in our region. 

Three entities organized to create a new line of work and mobilize the history of athletics in Arbeca and its way of understanding this discipline throughout the Garrigues region. That is why the Arbeca City Council, with the collaboration of the Garrigues Sports Council and the Joventut Atlètica Arbeca Club, decided to launch this initiative.

The EAAG's new approach is informed by the reconstruction of Arbeca's track and field facilities following the DANA storm (2019). Given this, the new Ramon Bellmut Municipal Stadium is outfitted in a more attractive way for Arbeca athletics.

The EAAG is an organization that seeks to introduce, initiate, familiarize, develop, and perfect the discipline of track and field for our athletes, with the primary goal of enjoying themselves and having fun while practicing.
